Our windows and much of our wall space will feature artwork on the "Floral Abundance - Flowers and Gardens" theme to coincide with the garden tours and the Art Walk.
Our "Second Sunday Series" will feature award-winning Artist Marjet Lesk demonstrating oil painting of a floral still-life. The demonstration is at Bridge Gallery, 113 Merrimac St., Newburyport on June 8 and will begin at 2:00pm.
Our Artist-of-the-Month Series features pastel Artist Kim Henry. Her show is titled "Kaleidoscope". A reception for the Artist will be held on Saturday June 14, 5-7pm.
A Gallery reception will also be held on the night of the Art Walk with music being provided by guitarist Donna Ricci.

Indigo Artist Studio is a working studio for artists, Mary Arthur Pollak and Lillian M. Cololidge. The studio features monotypes, mixed media, and oils and is open for Newburyport ArtWalks and by appointment or by chance. In addition to works in progress, a monotype press, and visiting the artists, the studio is an eclectic mix of style including tin ceilings and strange angles. We welcome guests at any time and are usually available with a phone call if we are not working at the studio.

Samuel Isham wore many hats as art historian, critic, lawyer, artist and author. His book, A History of American Paintings, was one of the first major histories of American art. First published in 1905, the work, referenced by students and scholars alike, offered an interesting, straightforward and intellectual account of the subject.
